Energy Efficiency
Chatsworth Windows are commited to energy efficient windows and conservatories
Chatsworth Windows now offer BFRC "A" rated windows by fabricating REHAU's S706 70mm system with the new "A" rated sealed unit branded EnergiMAX
What are energy efficient windows and what are the benefits?
They are windows that help to contain and conserve heat within your home keeping out wind and rain yet allowing natural, "free" energy to heat your home.
How much money can I save?
You can save money on your energy bills if you install Energy Efficient Windows. If your home is single glazed or your double-glazing was installed prior to April 2002, then you could be losing heat, and therefore money, literally out of the window. However, by switching to Energy Efficient Windows you can save energy and reduce your household bills by as much as £461* per year.

How much carbon can I save?
You can reduce you carbon footprint if you install Energy Efficient Windows. If you live in a single glazed house and install Energy Efficient Windows, you could reduce your the energy you use by 0.30 tonnes or 18% - almost reaching the Government target of 20% reduction per household.
How much do Energy Efficient Windows cost?
The cost varies not only between the various ratings (A to E), but is also dependant on the frame material, the size and style. The rule of thumb is that Energy Efficient Windows cost less than the heat lost through old windows over a given period of time.
